Best Thing: Meeting the goals of 75 skis days and 1 million vertical feet. I'm ready to do other stuff, set other goals, but looking forward to next ski season. It was great to live 22 miles from 49* North, and 66 miles from Schweitzer. It was a good winter, early start (1 day after Thanksgiving), but slow to accumulate snow in Dec. February was off the hook, with lot's of powder days and very cold weather. Typically, we have a week of warm, rainy weather in February, enough to cause the Spokane River to reach spring runoff levels. That warm trend didn't happen this year, quite the opposite.
