Best thing: Cranking turns with those fun Volkl carvers blue skies, and an amazing,"forever" view when on the chair lift. Also, not hurting myself as I walked out of my house to drive up to the hill, when I didn't notice the black ice on the stairs and fell down the entire length, while carrying my ski gear.
